Recruits Everywhere! I happened to attend the Fiesta on Saturday and noticed a ton of recruits on the field. First off, Devin Gardner towered over all of them. He looked like he was ready to suit up for the Wolverines on Saturday.
One recruit that attended the game on Saturday that doesn't have Michigan in his top 3 is Dior Mathis from Cass Tech: "We loved it,” Mathis said of the visit experience. “I was loving the defense and I was loving the offense. I really paid attention to the defense and how they played their corners. The corners were making plays, getting interceptions and coming up to make tackles."
Others at the game included, Chris Rock a 2011 recruit from Ohio, Ricardo Miller, Austin White, Courtney Avery, Jeremy Jackson, new 2011 commit Greg Brown, and 2011 Akron (Ohio) St. Vincent St. Mary’s cornerback Doran Grant.
May the Forcier be with you..................
Well done Mustaches for Michigan!
Notes from RR Press Conference yesterday while we all were sleeping:
- 28 players played for the first time as a Wolverine. 28 Wow! That's a big number.
- Minor, Hemingway, Cissoko, and Moundros should all be ready to go on Saturday. Most of them will have limited contact this week during practice.
- Brown most likely will get the start at running back. Forcier at QB.
- Players of the Game: Offense: Junior Hemingway, Defense: Obi Ezeh and Stevie Brown, Special Teams: Zoltan Mesko.
- Adrian Witty will not attend Michigan this semester. Maybe in the Winter term.
From the Terrelle Pryor files: This one seems a little strange, regarding questions about Mike Vick. I can now see why "the vest" kept him from the press conference during the Bowl game last year.
TP: Not everybody is a perfect person in the world. Everyone kills people, murder people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever.
Ok, better let the Seniors do the media work from now on. HT: Mgoblog
- Mike Hart got cut by the Colts but was signed to the practice squad.
- Congratulations to Brian Griese. Who started his ESPN broadcast career on the Cincinnati - Rutgers game. I didn't hear he officially retired but congratulations on 11 year run in the NFL!
