Michigan's 2010 Season Starts Today: As 2010 Recruits Start Class at U of M

Most high school seniors look forward to their final semester in high school. They take a light load of classes, go to the prom, and enjoy the graduation ceremony in the Spring.

Not this list of 2010 Michigan Football Players! These guys get to start their college experience today and instead of the prom they get English 101, Mike Barwis, and Spring Football.

Here is the list of 2010 recruits that plan on starting class today at Michigan:

  • Breaking News: The #1 rated QB in the country Devin Gardner plans on enrolling and starting school today. He played in the UA All American Game this past weekend and seemed to be 50/50 if it was going to happen.
  • Texas running back, Stephen Hopkins
  • Florida/Ann Arbor Pioneer WR Ricardo Miller
  • Ann Arbor Huron WR/TE Jeremy Jackson
  • Ohio WR Jerald Robinson
  • Ohio Offensive lineman Christian Pace
  • Michigan RB Austin White

There are two players who eligibility remain in question on enrolling early. 4 star safety Marvin Robinson is having some issues with classes he took this summer (should know today if he can enroll this week) and 2009 recruit and teammate of Denard Robinson, Adrian Witty.

The news on Gardner is really good. QB's need the extra time if they are going to play in 2010. Though many Michigan fans would prefer he redshirt. The other important recruit is Marvin Robinson at safety which we all know has serious depth issues. Tate Forcier arrived on campus in January 2009 and started at QB in September.
