Michigan Friday: A Crazy Week in Review

What a crazy week.  Let me give you a quick update on the top 10 stories!

  1. Nebraska is a new member of the Big Ten.  Please See Below!
  2. Demar Dorsey is not coming to Michigan and it seems the Life Skills program (instead of regular high school) grades were the issue.   This again is an example of the poor process in the athletic/admissions department.  This should have been known before they offered the young man and not in June!
  3. Michigan Basketball loses an assistant coach to Purdue and replaces him with a guy from Western Michigan.  Mike Jackson Out - Lavell Jordan in.
  4. Red Berenson will coach the Michigan Hockey team for 3 more years
  5. Texas to meet internally next week to decide if they want to go to the Big Ten or PAC 10.  ND what are your plans?
  6. USC gets hit in the mouth by the NCAA.  The real killer could be the rule that allows juniors and seniors to leave for other programs without having to sit out a year.  Michigan could use a corner or two!
  7. Izzo doesn't know what he wants to do.  Stay in college or go grab the cash in the NBA?
  8. Cincinnati LB Sean Duggan had a great visit to Ann Arbor this week.
  9. D. Hart is now saying he is planning to announce in January (which is not a good sign for the Wolverines).
  10. Curtis Grant a 2011 LB is one of the top prospects in the country  is planning a Michigan visit this summer.
