Michigan Gets A 2015 CB Commitment!

Just a few minutes ago on ESPN's Recruiting Nation Shaun Crawford from Lakewood, Ohio/St. Edward High School committed to the Wolverines for the class of 2015.   He is 5'9 and 165 pounds and is the 6th commitment to the class.  He also carries a 3.6 GPA!

His top two schools were Michigan and ND but he also had offers from Miami, FL, Northwestern, PSU, MSU, Tennessee, Arkansas, FSU, Iowa, Illinois and a few others.   He did not have an ND offer but one was expected if he didn't pick the Wolverines today.   His offer list is very impressive for a guy going into his junior year of high school football and it seems the Michigan coaches got another steal by being in early on a recruit.

Shaun is rated very high by ESPN as a 4 star player and #49th player in the country.
Scout: 4 star and 10th CB in the country.
24/7: 4 star and 17th CB and 156 in the country
Rivals: Not rated due to 2015 rankings not out

Michigan has been recruiting taller CB's but they must have seen something they liked in Shaun and being able to cover taller WR's.  His tape below also shows he can "lay the wood" a little bit!  Shaun has been a lifetime fan of the Wolverines and jumped on his scholarship offer very early, which makes sense because this is going to be a small class.

Bob,
I know I've seen BHB on the ESPN boards. With them shutting down, are you going to try to do posts like this that give some timely updates? This is my second stop everyday(After WolverNation), but could possibly become my first?
Thanks for all your work.

Thanks for reading Joe. I'm sorry to see that board go. I usually get a post up with the top Michigan Football updates by 11:00 AM (EST) M-F. I also do a game day review on Sundays during the season.

If there is major news during the day, I will either put up a breaking news post or update the daily post. Thanks again for reading!
