Michigan Tuesday: Welcomes a 2016 Recruit

When Michigan started adding 2015 commits, I thought that was really early for these kids to make a verbal commitment.   Well, yesterday Michigan received a 2016 commitment from Erik Swenson a 4 star (Scouts) Tackle prospect from Downers Grove, Il.   Big E is 6'7 and around 290 pounds and clearly will be one of the top players in the 2016 class.    He had offers from ND, OSU, Virginia Tech, Illinois and Northwestern already.

He is clearly still a raw player as he develops his blocking skills as he should be at this point in his development.   With camps and some good coaching, he is going to be a very nice prospect for future Michigan teams.

  • Here is the recruiting visitor list for Saturday.  I hope they really love the campus!

  • Christian Bryant and Ryan Shazier from OSU has already started talking trash for Saturday.   All the Wolverines can do is stay quiet and try to prove their point on the field on Saturday.

  • OSU defense getting healthy at the right time for them

Rich Rod went 3-9, 5-7, 7-6... actual improvement year over year, after taking over an offense that was void of the kind of player he had success with. Here we are in year three of Brady's era. Brady went 11-2 (with Rich Rod's kids), 8-4, year three will in all likelihood end up 7-5, possibley 8-5 if we play CMU in a bowl.
Hoke's offense is every bit as poor as RichRod's defense was....

Who'd have guessed year three for each staff would have similar records?
