I wrote in a post last week that Devin Gardner has to be questionable for the Copper Bowl. A grade 2 or 3 Turf Toe injury takes weeks to recover from. If you follow the NFL you know guys that get this injury struggle the entire season trying to recover.

Hoke: Devin Gardner held out of practice again today. Still using crutches

Hoke wouldn't go as far as calling Gardner questionable for the bowl game. But doesn't sound like a total certainty right now.
Let me clear this up for you, he is very questionable for a game in 11 days. Yes, folks a week from Saturday, Michigan plays another football game. Hard to believe isn't.
If Michigan fans felt so/so about the Copper Bowl, what are they going to think if Shane Morris is the QB?
I'm betting there won't be too many Copper Bowl shirts and hats under the tree this year! (actually, I would be up for a Copper Bowl T-Shirt not a BWW one)
- Mgoblog caught up with running back Vic Enwere on his visit. I don't know about you but it doesn't sound like Vic is headed to Ann Arbor.
- Remember Denzel Ward who committed to Michigan early on, then wanted to take visits to Florida and other places? The Michigan coaches then pulled the plug on his scholarship. Well, Denzel since then has been enrolled at 3 different high schools and just yesterday de-committed from Purdue.
- I still don't understand why Michigan doesn't seem to be looking to recruit more players for the final two spots for the 2014 class. Guys like Ryan, Norfleet and Henry were "under the radar guys" the have worked out well for the Wolverines. It seems Michigan could still find a few good players to fill up this class. I'm not sold at all that Enwere and McDowell are headed to Ann Arbor to play.
- Shaun Crawford re-confirmed he is a 100% committed to Michigan. He is only going to C-Bus for an awards banquet. It seems the Michigan coaches put a bug in Shaun's and his dad ear, that his OSU's offer was the 12th CB offer the Buckeyes have made for the 2015 class. Compared to Michigan, who offered Shaun very early. This really hit home for the Crawford's and Shaun is fully committed to the Wolverines.
- Former Michigan QB Coach Scot Loeffler flips an MSU QB recruit for the 2014 class. Chris Durkin a QB from Youngstown, OH flipped his commitment from MSU to VA Tech on Monday. On why he switched: “A chance to play early,” Durkin said by phone Monday night. “At the other place I was looking at a two- to three-year wait before I really got a shot. And coach [Scot] Loeffler said he wants me to play early.” “He coached [Tom] Brady, [Tim] Tebow and most importantly to me, Chad Henne. … I’m confident that coach Loeffler knows how to prepare young talent for the next level. He’s proven he can do it and now I need to do the exact same.”

I watched Clarkston High's team for the last few years and this year they won the state championship with a team that you'd look at and say "no way" (they just don't get the talent that other teams do). They have excellent play calling, game planning, in game changes, taking advantage of what the D gives, etc..... is far superior to M's and I'll bet they get paid far far less then Borges perhaps about 1/140th.......What an opportunity for M to improve and save a lot of money. Probably enough to hire a good QB coach!
......once again how about Scott Loeffler.
I'm on board Uncle Ron!
I think "if" there is a coaching change, it will be after the bowl games are done and before the signing of the letters of intent.IMHO
Cam Cameron, Scott Loeffler, Stan Parish, Jeff Jagodzinski, Mike Mularky, hell Eddie Munster might be a step up....
