Michigan Tuesday: Nik and Coach Beilein Take Home More Hardware

Nik Stauskas won the Big Ten Player of the Year from the Coaches and Media last night.  John Beilein won the coach of the year from the Media but Nebraska’s Tim Miles got the same honor from the coaches.

I can't argue with any of those choices.  Coach Beilein did a fantastic job this year and deserves the honor but Nebraska were predicted last in the Big Ten has his team on the verge of getting an invite to the NCAA Tournament.   Both coaches deserved the honor.

We all know how good Nik is and he was clearly the Big Ten POY this year.   Caris got second team All Big Ten and Derrick was on the All Freshman Team.

  • 2014 signee Kameron Chatman has been invited to play in the Jordan HS All American game.

  • Michigan will play again in the Barkley Center in November which includes these opponents: Villanova, VCU, or Oregon.

  • Michigan WR recruit "Captain" Christian Kirk received an invite to the Nike's Opening.

I know this is completely off topic, but Derrick Green is down to 220 (from 240 last year). This dude is going to dominate this year! GO BLUE!
