Michigan Monday: Dog Days Of Summer

Not much going on right now.  The Opening is over and there isn't much news coming out of Schembechler Hall as the players and coaches are resting and getting ready for Fall Camp in a couple weeks.    So here are a couple interesting things that I dug up:

• Here is a list of the folks coming to the BBQ and thinking about attending.

• Nik does well in his first summer league game: 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting, three assists, two steals, two blocks and three turnovers.

• Per UMHoops: John Beilein opened the July evaluation period by focusing on two of his top class of 2016 targets: Derryck Thornton Jr. and Tyus Battle. Beilein was in Philadelphia at the Reebok Breakout Challenge, flanking Kentucky head coach John Calipari on Wednesday and Thursday while watching the talented guards.

• 2015 four-star defensive end Darian Roseboro will announce his decision on 8/29.  He has Michigan in his top 6.
