Hoke Needs A Realtor

This game went exactly how I thought it would go: embarrassing.  I'm sure many of you are not upset, as this performance isn't a surprise to anyone.

Here are my random thoughts:

  • Sean McDonough is interviewing for a new job as "Captain Obvious"
  • Chris Spielman is "almost" a good color commentator and not a Buckeye Homer
  • I have no idea what Devin Gardner is doing about 70% of the time.  His decision making today couldn't have been any worse.
  • The defense did the best they could, but the tackling was terrible.
  • Like always Hoke looks way over his head on the sideline and his coaching consists of yelling for the punt team and clapping when Gardner softball tosses to a MSU player.
  • Throw the ball downfield!
  • Jake Butt is open!
I am out of words how to explain how bad this Michigan team is.  The leaders at U of M need to clean out the entire athletic department and football program and start over.

When small victories for the Wolverines is scoring one touchdown, this program is at the lowest of lows.

Someone please end this nightmare.

The commentator on tv mentioned the obvious... that Hoke had great recruiting classes but they aren't developing the talent. He said that in fact, they are going backwards.

Coach Beilein and his staff excel because they know how to develop young talent. I'm afraid that good young talent won't want to come here if they feel they won't get any better.

In my opinion we are being quite negative. However, in this situation I would equate our negativity to a passion or sense or urgency. Right now Michigan football is lacking in emotion. Winners or successful people, in general, exhibit a sense of urgency as a common trait. On the bright side I believe that our defense performed reasonably well today under the circumstances of a dysfunctional offense. I believe with just an above-average offensive performance, not necessarily a great one, Michigan could have beat MSU. We need to get the swagger back in the offense, win or lose. Without such spirit the losing will continue. Whoever the new coach will be, I am hoping that he has the spark that can ignite the flame the team desperately needs. Thus, identifying a guy with spark should be one of the top criterion for the coaching search. R. Klanseck Class of '71.

RR got fired and Joke get hired, what has changed?
Borges got fired and Nussmeier got hired, what has changed?
Michigan roaster full of 4/5 star players, what has changed?
The answer is this team is 3-5. One of the worst offenses in FBS. A 5th year senior 5 star dual threat QB that can't f....g manage an UNO game. Incompetent coaching staff that lacks LEADERSHIP, VISION, CREATIVITY, PLAYER DEVELOPMENT, IN GAME ADJUSTMENTS and a Head Coach and a "MICHIGAN MAN" that is coaching this team like he did at Ball State. That's what has changed.

No passion in our team. Classless act by Dantonio leaving his starting lineup in at the end of the game"yeah state beat the point spread". Chris Spielman would be a great coach, or Pat Narduzzi, I don't think Harbaughs or Myles are coming. "Part of rivalries are you have to win sometimes" John L Smith

So now what? Status quo? Dave Brandon stays his coarse? Hoke keeps clapping on the side line without a head set watching our team become worse and worse to an unprecedented level?

Our esteemed President should get one week to make his move. Thats what I would do. Wait one week, so the MSU win does not become interpreted as the event that pushed us to overhaul everything. But after our next game, pull the trigger. If we have to wait any longer for definitive action by our President it would be unconscionable. In that event, the students need another rally. This time i envision hundreds and hundreds of them just sitting in complete silence on the President's front lawn - morning, noon, night. Changing shifts. For days. Holding simple signs demanding Brandon be removed IMMEDIATELY. They sit for days. The media will swarm. The University will have no choice but to act swiftly to stop the hemorrhaging of negative publicity.

This is not about removing Hoke. This is about removing Brandon. Nothing gets done without that fu**er removed - no cultural change, no public relations change, no coaching change. Nothing. Brandon leaves and then the other pieces slowly, methodically fall in place. We can only hope.

*Nuss sucks. He has done NOTHING to impress me with his playcalling and neither QB has gotten any better since he has gotten here. They've actually both REGRESSED.

*Mattison - our defense has consistently lost 3rd downs for YEARS now under his watch. If not for the excellent individual play of Ryan this bunch would look MUCH worse every week. Think of how we have lost at the point of attack against Little Brother and the Fuckeyes the last few years...

*D'Antonio is a leader in every way. MSU has a culture. A definition. A fire.... Urban Liar also provides that fire for the Fuckeyes. Hoke has not done that for our boys. We have no culture, we have no definition, we have no fire.

* Gardner is THE WORST QB in the B10. He can't read coverages, makes horrible decisions, locks onto the primary receiver, can't go through progressions, looks down at the rush.....I can go on for days about how bad this kid is.

* The OLine = gutless. Kalis should never play another down. Cole has been getting owned the last 4 games now too. So I don't want to hear about how good he is.

* Back up the brinks truck and get Jim H at all costs. He can turn this thing around within 2 seasons (if not 1). The recruits will stay. He will provide culture. He will provide fire. We will be able to run the ball. His offensive schemes are great. I'm serious. If Brandon can
't get it done, then get the guy in there that can and will make this happen. I don't want Les, I don't want John. It's Jim or bust.

Oh, and by the way, if Devin Funchess thinks he's "pro ready" right now, he should watch some of his own tape.

Finally some progress under the Hoke staff...... We scored a TD against sparty. Michigan is the laughing stock of the Big 10, never thought I'd see this day...... Home needs to go, now. His 'Brady babble' pressers make me want to throw up.

I will NOT watch another game with Devin Gardner under center. Can't do it. Won't do it.
It's time to see what Shane has for an extended period of time.

I am not going to waste the time analyzing that crap-fest. All I can say is nearly every week they are raising the bar for incompetence. That offensive performance would fit perfectly with Yakity Sax...

What made "this" game so significant to Michigan fans and what I had called a watershed game for this team? It is because Michigan played against a coach that absolutely HATED Michigan and never made any attempt to try to hide it, and wanted to do everything he could to embarrass this team.

So what happened... this Hoke team goes to East Lansing and lays down. Don't give me that crap about "the kids played hard" because they weren't ready and didn't look on offense to be putting up a fight. How do you go to play a team that you KNOW will do everything to hurt you and you don't even put up a fight? In fact, on offense this looks more like that old Mike Tyson verses Michael Spinks fight, if you could call that a fight.

So who gets the Kotex Maxi Pad awards... you pick em. Just throw the box up in the locker room, when it comes down it'll hit someone that deserves it.

I agree w "voice of reason". Danatonio despise Michigan w passion and express it often unlike the p...y Hoke constantly praising msu players and staff to a point it's sickening. It's ok to respect your opponent and show class but don't suck their balls. This Michigan football team is "WEAK and SOFT". The players are a reflection of their COACH period. Danantonio is a prime example. It's embarrassing and disgraceful that this core of Michigan coaching staff display such a crappy product on the field.

I'm not a fan of Mark Dantonio, but I have to admit the man is a genius! He runs up the score at the end of the Michigan game, and then gets Brady Hoke to apologize the next day? I wonder what Bo thinks? New coach new direction is needed. Throwing a spike in opposing teams turf is not a very bright idea but a coach saying they want to shove it.... Michigan use to stand for excellence and it still does as a great university! The football team needs leadership to return it to said excellence.

Hoke has to kiss a lot of butt right now. He will be looking for a new job soon....lol
