Wolverine Wednesday: Get Your Popcorn Here!

Nik seems to be fitting in well on a NBA roster even though he is only averaging 4 points a game.

  • The player we talked about yesterday shooting guard Kenny Williams did get released from his LOI and Coach B is expected to visit him.   There are still decisions to be made this month and Michigan Basketball has a policy of not accepting a commitment before a player visits.  If Kenny makes it to Ann Arbor that is a really good sign.   The other dates this month impacting the roster is the NBA Draft Deadline on the 26th and Brown's decision at the end of the month.   If Caris stays in the program, which seems to be the trending decision, then there might not be a spot for either Williams or Brown.

  • Touch the Banner has a run down of Michigan's 2017 prospects and new star rating from 24/7.   Instate I really like Donovan Peoples-Jones and James Ross brother, Josh.

  • New NCAA concussion policy settlement proposed for testing for current and former players and tougher return to play rules and procedures.

  • Surprise Urban Meyer gets a contract extension at OSU with an average salary of $6.5M until 2020.

  • The Michigan Football Staff is hitting the road today across the county.  Look for a many 2017 and some more 2016 offers going out in the next week or so.

Any idea where we stand with the likes of Rashan Gary & Caleb Kelly?

Scott K agreed, Big 35: Gary I think we stand in really good shape. GMat was expected at his school today and hiring his former head coach has to be a huge plus for him playing in A2. He will wait to do a decision at an all star game, but I like our chances. Kelly liked his visit but I always think west coast kids will stay on the west coast.
