Michigan Monday: New Uniforms, WR Perry Back and Camps Begin

Since the calendar switched to June last week, that means camps are being held all over the country.   Jimmy and staff will be everywhere and doing their own camps in Ann Arbor as well.

Here are two nuggets that came out of one of his camps media Q&A's:

  • Sounds like Grant Perry has found a settlement to his East Lansing troubles and is back with the team as a full time participant.   That is good news for the Michigan offense next year.
  • Jimmy also said that the Wolverines might wear an alternative jersey next year.  That will be interesting!

-The Michigan Baseball team went 0-2 this weekend and now out of the College Baseball tournament.

-To answer the question from Friday's Post, whether the SEC will allow former ND QB Malik Zaire to transfer to Florida?  The answer is Yes.   He will most likely be the starter against Michigan in Dallas.

-Michigan made the top 5 for Houston CB D'shawn Jamison.  His list also includes: Texas, TCU, Oregon, and USC.

-2018 GA OL James Ohonba visited Ann Arbor this past weekend!  Here a quote from Scouts from May:  He is a 6-foot-4, 320 pound offensive lineman with a size 18 shoe and strong academics.

-2018 3-star TE Lee Payton will visit A2

-Both Joe Milton and Tyler Shough were at the Elite 11 Finals in LA this weekend.

That's crazy news about the Q-back from Notre Dame playing for Florida, seems like we always get the butt end of those deals... how good is he? (without me looking...)

It's a home game for me (not much farther than Toledo to Ann Arbor, but the cost and terrible traffic, and ease of just watching it on TV, keeps me home!
