Michigan is not good at offense folks. I know its hard to believe with the offensive coaching staff that is in Ann Arbor, but its a fact. If it wasn't for Don Brown and an unbelievable performance from Karan Higdon, Michigan would have its second disappointing loss in a row.
Michigan got nothing out of it's QB today. JOK threw for 58 yards on 20 attempts which is an average of less then 3 yards per completion. He also threw a terrible pick that was erased by a questionable PI call. Let's not forget the missed bomb to DPJ and throwing into triple coverage instead of hitting a wide open Gentry on a crossing route.
Where does that leave the position? Nowhere. Wilton is hurt and probably done for the year, insiders are saying that Peters is nowhere near ready, Jimmy is not ready to pull McCaffrey's redshirt, and Alex Malzone is in the witness protection program. Your also not going to give Peters his first start in Happy Valley in a white out night game on national TV.
Spend the ride home enjoying this win and then start figuring out how they are going to compete in Happy Valley in another dreaded night game. Fun Times!

A win is a win and another ugly one in Bloomington. The bright spot on the day was the running game but that won't be enough for a W in Happy Valley. The Michigan coaches are going to earn their pay this week.

Our offense has went to mediocre to bad to awful.
Do we not have a qb on the roster or how much is coaching and play calling?
we could be successful with a mediocre QB if the WRs could get open regularly and the line was good. Average QB with a line that whiffs as many times as it hits is not a good recipe. I'd expect turnover in offensive coaching after the season. Hamilton as the passing coordinator has been a disaster and Drevno has had 3 years to put together a functional OL and that hasn't happened either.
2 TE formations with a focus on zone blocking runs and high percentage passes with the occasional trick play...this is what the need to do. It needs to be their identity because to be honest it looks like they don't have an identity on offense.
I just want to know...can u guys in the states call the cops and charge Pep Hamilton with fraud....A MILLION DOLLARS FOR WHAT????...I wanna hope Jimmy is hiding the playbook so we catch Penn State flatfooted...He gives interviews after game and for most part is calm...I just wanna hope he knows something we don’t know...
I agree with Dude1984, two tight-ends, and be exploitive and aggressive... also I would practice all week starting at7:30 pm, adjust their bio-clocks... why not? Be inventive, be the ball, like Caddy-shack! Go Blue ... give it to (beat) Pervert U. Also a note to fans going to the game, if you drop quarter do not pick it up, maybe all evil has not been rooted out yet!
Two thoughts. How many other coaching staffs with the offense we have could be sitting at 5-1 right now. And with the one loss being a 5 turnover game? I got to think the defensive guys are saying to themselves no matter how bad the offense is I'm going to go out there and show him how good the defense is.
I hope all those people for the past year and a half have been "yelling" for JOK are happy now. You got your wish. The new king is the same as the old king.
