The second week of the College Football Playoff poll came out last night and for the second week it left Michigan out of the Top 25.
- There are 5 three loss teams in the top 25
- Northwestern and Iowa are ranked
Your either in the top 5-6 or it really doesn't matter as only the top 4 teams make it to the playoffs. The second reason is, Jimmy and staff can use this for motivation to close out the season. Michigan will need to take care of business against Maryland and I think they match-up very well against Wisconsin. OSU has looked great and terrible in back to back weeks.
Michigan needs to play well to close out the season and this disrespect should only help with motivation!
- Today is the first day of the early signing period for basketball and Michigan is expected to have 5 players sign LOI's. David DeJulius, Adrien Nunez, Colin Castleton, Brandon Johns, and Ignas Brazdeikis. 24/7 ranks this class #5 in the country.
- The Michigan - Maryland line is now set at 16.5.

Considering how Michigan has played for most of the season, I wouldn't expect them to be ranked. We can speculate all long on what might have been. Bob, let's hope that you are right and that Michigan does use this lack of ranking to the best possible outcome.
