On Wednesday Michigan lost out on Ole Miss safety transfer Deontay Anderson. On Thursday, Michigan lost out on 3 star TE Tommy Tremble to ND. So that is two guys Michigan thought might fill scholarships next season. If you count the very tentative status of Van Jefferson that is 3 available. Michael Barrett didn't commit on his birthday, so he is still in play. His 4 predictions on 24/7 are 100% to Michigan.
The new prospect is Essexville, Michigan Garber athlete Ben Van Sumeren. Ben is a 3 star prospect at TE or LB. He is an Iowa commit and Michigan offered him on Thursday morning. Iowa likes him at LB and Michigan likes him a FB or H-Back. Jimmy and Jay are expected to meet with him this morning and Ben is expected to visit Ann Arbor this weekend. Ben did his official visit to Iowa last weekend and was expected to sign with Iowa on Wednesday.
