Michigan Thursday: That's a Ton of Airline Myles

Chris Jerrod Hilton played 13 years in the NFL.  He was famously drafted by Denver Broncos and traded for John Elway.  During his career, he played on the offensive line for the Colts, Falcons, and Vikings.  He went to college at Northwestern.   Chris has two very talented sons \, one is headed to Michigan in the 2019 class to play on the defensive line and a 5 star OT in the 2020 class.   Myles the highly ranked OT in the 2020 class picked Stanford last night over the Wolverines.   The Hilton's live in Atlanta and there was a hope Myles would pick Michigan, so the family could just travel to Ann Arbor for games.  This decision wasn't a shock, but the hits just keep coming this week.

  • Michigan Basketball puts their un-defeated record on the line tonight at Illinois.  Michigan is favored by 8 and the hook.  Livers is still questionable with a bad back.

  • Trending is Northern Illinois coach Rod Carey for the Temple job.

  • The Oakland A's are expecting Kyler Murray to declare for the NFL Draft.  He might want to re-think that decision after Bryce Harper signs his new contract for over $300 Million.

  • Michigan's 2019 early enrollees are now in school:  Those players are:  Zach Charbonnet, Mazi Smith, Erik All, Jalen Perry, Cade McNamara, David Ojabo, Mike Sainristil, and Gabe Newburg. Wednesday was the first day of school.

Coaches leave Michigan because Jimmy develops them about as much as he does the QB, what could they possibly learn or get from Harbaugh other than the block M on the resume... they going to learn his offense? What offense? The outdated one? Or his defense? Or is that Dons defense?

Former Co OC from Alabama. Young guy as well.

He'll have to listen to Jim. He hired him and he can fire him.

Northern Illinois University, IMO, is a dump in a dumpy city. Rod Carey would be lucky to leave DeKalb, IL. That's an easy decision

Gattis is a great hire and an even better “reply” to the departure of M and W to the bucknuts. Yesterday was a needed good day.

The more you read on him the better it gets... or so it seems.... this looks like a very solid hire.... no doubt after seeing his resume and examining it further, the WR group should flourish under him.... On paper Patterson, combined with this coach and what Alabama ran under him, looks very exciting with Charbonnet coming in and the speed that we have coming back at HB.... no reason a former QB head coach should not let the ball fly high in the BIG HOUSE this fall....O Line is much improved and the defense should not fall off to far.... very close big blue.... Harbaugh has it some where in him to get this done...Don Brown does as well....this young OC just may be the new flash we needed.... we can do it! GO BLUE
