Michigan Monday: Weekend News and Notes

Not a ton of information coming out of the late Fall "socially distant" Submarine but there was news elsewhere to keep you updated on:

  • 4 Star WR Jayden Thomas who had a Michigan offer, picked ND over the weekend.  Michigan is full at the WR right now.  Was even too full a few weeks ago.   Speaking of former commit Markus Allen, he most likely will end up at Cincinnati or Wisconsin.

  • Wisconsin starting QB Jack Coan inquired his foot in practice last week and will have surgery, his time table to return is not known yet.

  • Jordan Glasgow blocked a punt on Sunday.

  • Duncan Robinson woke up and had 13 points in game 3 for a Heat win last night.   Looking like it could be a Lakers gentlemen's sweep at 4-1.

  • RB Christian Turner has opted back in for a very deep RB room.

  • Oklahoma's start has me concerned, as they are starting a new young QB.

  • Name to keep an eye on is 2022 5 star CB Will Johnson, who is a legacy Wolverine.   His father Deion played CB for the Maize and Blue under Moeller.  Jimmy and staff are putting the full court press on the Grosse Pointe South junior's recruitment.

Don't let OK concern you. Their QB is playing fine for the most part. They just don't play any D at all, that's been their problem for the last several years. Have to go back to The Boz to find good OK defenses.
