Big Ten Preview Week 5

Didn't the season start like a couple weeks ago?  It did not and October is almost here.  We are in week 5 folks and I can hardly believe it.  We start with another Friday game in where Washington has to travel the country to take on Rutgers in a Friday night game. 

Friday:

Washington @ Rutgers (-2.5):  One team played in the National Championship game earlier this year, the other team is Rutgers.  Vegas really doesn't know what to do with this game as Rutgers is favored by 2.5 points. Washington 24 Rutgers 21

Saturday:

Maryland at IU (-7):  Is Indiana good?  Probably won't find out this week.  Maryland 14 IU 28

Nebraska (-10) @ Purdue: Even though Nebraska suffered a tough loss last week, they are better then Purdon't.  Nebraska 31 Purmaybe 14

Wisconsin @ USC (-15.5): The Badgers travel across country to meet a pissed off Trojans team.  Lincoln said this week they played great on defense except on 4 running plays.   I do great on my diet everyday except for the 4 donuts I eat.  Wisconsin 9 USC 28 

Ohio State (-23.5) @ Michigan State:  OSU hates to travel to Michigan for anything.  They really should summer in Petoskey or Traverse City.  They might think different of the Great Lakes State! This trip should be more enjoyable then the one after Thanksgiving last year.   OSU 38 MSU 17 

Illinois @ Penn State (-18):  This is the Big Ten game of the week on NBC.  What is with the disrespect for Illinois? 18 points for two ranked teams.  Illinois has given Penn State trouble in Happy Valley with much worse teams.  Illinois 24 Penn State 27

Oregon ( 25.5) @ UCLA:  Talk about Big Ten after dark.  This is an 11:00PM Kickoff and its on FOX.  This is also a Big Ten game?  Which continues to be bonkers.  Maybe Baby Billy is on the call.   Ducks 41 Bruins 13

I do enjoy the non-conference being over and not having to pick 18 different games!  Time to search for those donuts.
