The secret sauce in finding the best talent in the portal takes really two things: money and relationships. Michigan was very high on four-star Indiana transfer wide receiver Donaven McCulley last off season and Donaven decided to stay in Bloomington. He has is back in the portal and now Michigan is expecting him to visit for the MSU game. Yes please!
Now, how can we get Kansas State's QB to enter the portal and head to Ann Arbor?
Here are a list of changes I would like Michigan to make during these bye weeks:
- Give Tuttle all first team snaps
- Have Tuttle throw with all RB's, WR's, and TE's on off days
- School Tuttle on not running in between the tackles.
- Stop being so damn predictable on offense
- More passing plays to Edwards
- Play action!
- Is there some law about Michigan running a traditional RB screen?
- More zone run blocks for the offensive line
- Consider more options in the secondary including Safety
------
- 5 star Michigan Basketball recruit Trey McKenney from Orchard Lake will commit on 10/9
- MSU game is a 7:30 kick at the Big House. Not a great decision.
- I hope the Michigan coaches studied the Purdue - Illinois game from last weekend. Purdue should've of not been able to put up 50 on them.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't mind night games. I got stuff to do during the day, and the way Michigan has been playing, I find myself reaching for a cocktail or 3. If we lose to lil' bro, I'll be able to just crawl to bed.
Wonder if last weeks Purdue game was a look ahead game for the Illini. Purdue has been one of the dregs of the B1G all season and perhaps Illini didn't take that game as serious as they should of. At least that's the excuse we used to use when narrowly escaping a game with an inferior opponent!
Funny ..... If I am allowed to comment ....Big brother is watching (AKA: BlueManGoupers). -+ I
"5 star Michigan Basketball recruit Trey McKenney from Orchard Lake will commit on 10/9".....interesting, today is 10/16. Did I miss something?
To each his own. I'm a 12 noon guy. Beers and Cigars till about 3:30 then out to dinner to celebrate or commiserate. The games are easier to watch with low expectations. Agree on the predictable offense...
There will be advertising at the Big House next year to generate revenue sharing. I have no problem with this, as long as there are no gaudy company logos on the Michigan helmet, jersey, or a stupid State Farm emblem on the field. Keep it classy!
Getting WR McCulley would be nice, but why would he want to come here? The team doesn't have a QB, and only throws to the TE. Maybe he likes blocking.
He must be going through a different kind of portal that will transport him back in time!
I dont mind a night game, either. If I start day drinking at noon, I'm down for the count by 6pm.
Guys, me and my buddy are going to Illinois.... Should be a good game. Hopefully we come out as a Victor

Szanreno: It's all good, but like Brady if I'm cracking a couple of beers at noon, by the time the night games kick off, I'm ready for a nap!
That was my first thought. If I'm a WR in the portal, I'm going to a team with a functional QB
I think that bullet points 1 & 2 implemented on day one.
