Above is a new photo of the East Side of the Big House. Seems they are coming along on the construction.
The new Basketball Practice Facility was proposed to the Michigan Regents today at a tune of $23M. It seems like they could get a new Crisler Arena for that cost. The new facility would attach to the east side of Crisler Arena and be built into the current hill and parking lot.
Would you be surprised to learn that the Wolverines have 9 former players or coaches in this years Super Bowl?
Steelers: Starting linebackers Larry Foote and LaMarr Woodley and Harold Goodwin, assistant offensive line coach is a former Wolverine player and graduate assistant.
Cardinals: Wide receiver Steve Breaston, defensive tackle Gabe Watson, defensive end Alan Branch, tight end Jerame Tuman, linebacker Victor Hobson and defensive backs coach Teryl Austin.
Side Notes: Teryl Austin is rumored to be a Defensive Coordinator candidate at Michigan. Nick Sheridan's dad Bill was named Defensive Coordinator for the New York Giants.
The Cardinals did not have a comment when asked: Which round would they be selecting Michigan Senior Defensive Lineman Terrance Taylor in? :-)
