Michigan landed it's second WR today in the 2012 class in Jehu Chesson from St. Louis. Jehu is 6'3 185 pound WR and 3 stars to Scouts and Rivals. He has a good frame and will add some weight once he gets into Michigan's S&C program. He is known as a speedster with good hands.
Jehu had offers from Iowa, Northwestern, Akron, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Purdue and UCLA. There was some interest from Florida and a few other schools but his final 3 were Michigan, Iowa and Northwestern.
I would expect Jehu to redshirt next year as he gains some weight and learns Big Al's offense. Don't forget Stonum will back after his redshirt year next year, so Michigan doesn't need to rush him on the field.
I expect his frame and speed were the upside the Michigan coaches were looking for. This should be it for WR recruiting in this class, so I expect the ship has sailed with Monty and Jordan.
The next recruits to keep an eye on is offensive line recruiting: Diamond, Garnett, and Kozan. TE: Sam Grant and DB's Yuri Wright and Armani Reeves. 4 Spots left.
