Michigan Tuesday: Big Night and Big Visits

Everyone knows Michigan has another tough road game tonight in East Lansing.   I hope the team is well rested after the trip to Wisconsin on Saturday.    Michigan needs a win tonight to keep pace in the Big Ten title race.   Go Blue!

Since the 2013 class is now complete, it's time to focus on the 2014 class.   Michigan has some visitors coming in the next couple of weeks:

  • This weekend 4 star TE Daniel Helm is visiting A2 with his family.  He is 6'5 220 pounds from Illinois.

  • On 2/24 Michigan will have a pair of Florida recruits visiting that could be key to the 2014 class.   Mason Cole is a 6'5 275 pound OT that has a ton of offers already.  His teammate is Artavis Scott who is a 5'11 180 pound WR with a number of big offers already as well.  Both guys play for Tarpon Springs, Florida, would like to be a package deal and both 4 star recruits to Rivals.   George Campbell a potential 5 star 6'5 200 pound WR from the same team will also visit with Mason and Artavis.    George is a 2015 prospect.

  • A recruit said he heard that Brady Hoke has a ton of offers to jump to the NFL.  I wonder if he is confused with his brother Jon Hoke who is a defensive coach for the Chicago Bears.

  • Delany is talking about 9 or 10 Big 10 conference games.   Which seems to make sense with Maryland and Rutgers jumping on board.

  • Lane Kiffin fired his RB/OC Kennedy Polamalu right after signing day.  The USC players were not happy at all.   Another example of a low class move by Kiffin who lets his coach go out and recruit and then fires him.   If you hit the link, you can see the new recruits, current and former players are not happy.
