Jamarco Jones is a 4 star OT from Chicago and will be busy this weekend. He is visiting Michigan, MSU and OSU. These are all return visits and he is looking to make a final decision in two week on 6/27. The visits were a bit "up in the air" yesterday as JJ tweeted the visits were off. I guess there was a family situation that wouldn't allow him to take his 3 visits but that is now resolved and he will be visiting all three campuses. His situation is similar to Chase Winovich's, Michigan is in a 3 school race for JJ's services and it seems OSU is a leader out of the gate at this point. The Michigan coaches will get a chance to change that position on Saturday. It's also clear the Michigan coaches want him for the last OL spot in this class. It seems Michigan insiders are feeling good about his recruitment and so are OSU insiders.
Side note: Jones is also considering ND but it seems his final 3 are Michigan, MSU and OSU.
- Speaking of Chase, he got his 4th star from Scouts recently.
- The Michigan coaches still would like one more LB in this class and the names to watch are: CA LB Dwight Williams, FL LB Darrion Owens, and just offered MO LB Jimmie Swain. I think it might be a first to commit scenario and we will see if Michigan gets any of these guys on campus soon.
