This is another strange week for the Big Ten with only 4 games and 4 teams with a bye week. With that said, there are a couple nice games this weekend against "brand named" teams. I also have a new term that I will be using: WGFM which stands for What's good for Michigan.
Big Ten Game of the Week
Northwestern at Wisconsin: Both teams have lost close games to Ohio State and both teams can't afford another loss in conference. Northwestern has one loss and Wisconsin has two with a game stolen from them against Arizona State. These teams are pretty much complete opposites. Wisconsin is a physical team that would like to run you over with power and Northwestern is a spread them that would like to throw and run around and bye you. My concern in this game is can the Northwestern defense stop Wisconsin at home? I think this will be a high scoring game but I like Wisconsin's defense more then the Wildcats. The other games.................
Nebraska at Purdue: I still don't know what Nebraska has and probably won't know until they play Northwestern in early November. We know what Purdue has and it isn't much. I'm surprised the line is only -14 for Cornhuskers. Nebraska 41 Purdue 14 WGFM: Purdue Win
Indiana at MSU: IU had a big win last weekend at home against Penn State. MSU had a big win on the road against Iowa. This is the classic offense vs. defense match up, with IU preferring to throw the ball around the yard and MSU having one of the top defensives in college football. MSU offense is coming around but not great, IU's defense is sort of the same. If IU can find away to but some points on the board, they could steal this game in East Lansing, but I doubt it. MSU is favored -9.5.

Michigan at Penn State will be previewed on Friday morning. OSU, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois are off.
