Wolverine Wednesday: Jimmy Helps at a Car Crash and Loves Judge Judy

Jimmy stopped to help two women (driver and passenger) that lost control of their car that flipped on 94 yesterday: Both crash victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said that the driver was at fault for going too fast for the road conditions.  Further reports say that both women in the crash now know the proper grip for throwing a perfect spiral as well.   :-) Glad to hear there wasn't any serious injuries.

Jimmy also posted on his twitter account about Judge Judy's new contract.   If you didn't know, he is a fan of the show and has even attended a taping of the show with his dad Jack.

  • Watching Michigan Basketball right now makes my head hurt.  I really don't have words for that loss last night to Northwestern.   I know many fans want an NIT bid, which is fine, but I'm leaning more of "putting a fork" in this this season, recruiting and getting healthy for next season.  BTW for those wondering when Michigan will get a true center.  Next year is the year, Michigan's only 2016 commit is 4 star Jon Teske who is listed at 6'10.   Recent reports have said, he has grown and is now at 7'0.

  • Michigan Football is not practicing this week as the kids are off for Spring Break.  Whisper reports from practice include the following:  practices are very up tempo and competitive, the WR's are standing out (Moe Ways and Drake Harris), as expected the defense is ahead of the offense & could be very good,  Malzone and Speight are getting the most snaps at QB and the true freshman Malzone might be getting the most.   I have heard conflicting reports on the overall condition of the team and my guess is the guys are not used to the very competitive and up tempo practices. Many times you will see two scrimmages going on and the corrections are made in the film room the next day.   Don't quote me on this, but this could be a great way to take full advantage of "on field time".  The NCAA restricts practice or on field time but I believe coaches can watch tape with players outside of that.   So it seems the team practices on the field and the next day reviews the film.   Not sure if the film days counts as a spring practice day or not.
