Wolverine "Wild" Wednesday: Bring Me Your Commits From Everywhere!

Michigan's tour in early June took them to many of the major recruiting "hot beds" in the country.   They got to see something like 1400 kids, which is just crazy.   Maybe next year they will look to do a Satellite Camp in Canada.   Yes, Canada!

Michigan landed a 2016 or 2017 CB from Canada Benjamin St-Juste who just attended Exposure U.  Why 2016 or 2017 you ask?  They are not quite sure how his transcripts will translate for U of M admissions.    I think this is a great find just in his name alone!!

Benjamin is listed at 6'3 and 170 pounds but were not sure how accurate that is.  None of the services have any rating or information on him.  Rivals had this write up after watching him at Michigan's camp:

Montreal (Que.) CAL 2016 cornerback Benjamin St.-Juste is a tall, long-armed cornerback at about 6-3, but he still has the hips to turn and run with receivers - something that's less common in players his height. St.-Juste impressed the U-M position coaches, and had an extended opportunity to work out in front of both of Michigan's defensive backs coaches, and even headman Jim Harbaugh.
St.-Juste might be one of the top players in all the camp when it comes to approaching a Michigan offer.

Just another example how the Wolverine coaches could care less about recruiting rankings or recruiting services.  They like what they like.

More to come on this Northern Sleeper Recruit!

  • More good news coming? One of the best players in the state 4 star DE Khalid Kareem is announcing his decision at 2:30 today!  Go Blue Big Fella!

  • Jay Harbaugh is fired up again!
  • Also visiting today is:  2016 4 star DE Ron Johnson, Jr., 4 star WR Brad Hawkins and 2017 4 star Center Cesar Ruiz.  All are from Camden High School in NJ.
That's a lot of DE's in one day if they both commit to Michigan!  Go Blue!
  • I also believe #1 player in the nation DT Rashan Gary is planning a visit this week with his mother.

  • TE Nasier Upshur will also be in this week.

Today could be a big day, stay tuned and I will update things as they break.
