Michigan Tuesday: Another All Star Game This Weekend

We are now in full recruiting mode right up to NSD.   Since it's still the dead period for another week or so, we can focus on the next All Star Game which is the Army All American game this Saturday.  
For Michigan fans the biggest thing to watch is our new QB Brandon Peters, who will be in Ann Arbor right after the game.   Brandon had such a good senior year, he could move up to a 5 star QB with a good showing this week.   Since he is already signed, that 5th star would only help Michigan's overall class rating and of course be a nice accomplishment for Brandon.

Other items worth watching on Saturday:

• CA WR Dylan Crawford will announce his decision during the game.   Dylan is reportedly down to Michigan and Oregon.  The word on the street is Oregon is probably full at WR and this decision should go to the good guys. 

• Michigan CB Levert Hill will be playing.  He still has high interest in Michigan and will announce on NSD.   There is a slight chance he would make a decision during the game.   Clemson just offered Hill and he wants to do an official.

• CA CB David Long will also be playing and is the other Michigan prospect at CB.  David will visit Washington in January (1/15)  and will have an in-home with the Michigan coaches after his visit.   David will make a decision after the Michigan in-home. Many expect David is a little higher on Michigan's board than Levert. 

• There is good news and bad news with 5 star FL TE Isaac Nauta who is announcing during the AA game.   The good:  Isaac has filed his early enrollment papers with Michigan to start school in January. The bad: he has also filed the same papers with Georgia.   Most expect him to pick Georgia, but Michigan has a shot at the upset.   I hope he got to watch the Citrus Bowl. 

• MI WR Donnie Corley will be playing in this game as well but he is heading to OSU or MSU.  Also see the first bullet point.  Donnie would like to play with Hill in college but that probably would happen if they both go to MSU.

• Jimmy has offered #2 to early enrollee WR Ahmir Mitchell which is a heck of an honor.   I expect that number will be retired in the next couple of years.
