Michigan Thursday: Rebel 3 Probably Down To Rebel 1

The recruiting services were able to track down Deontay Anderson yesterday and were told that his transcripts didn't make it through the Michigan Admission process.   So he is officially off the board.    With Van Jefferson taking visits to Louisville and others, its probably likely that he is in the same boat (even though we don't have any word on his status).    Michigan taking transfers has always been a issue and it seems it continues to be.  That is why we never see JUCO transfers as that process is very difficult to get past admissions.   We should consider ourselves lucky to have gotten Shea Patterson through.

• Jimmy also made news yesterday when he didn't renew the contract of S&C Coach Kevin Tolbert.  He said after the OSU Game, Michigan had to get stronger and I guess he was talking physically not mentally.   This is a very important role because an S&C coach sees the players everyday during the season and off season.   This is a very important coaching role. 

• TE Tommy Tremble announces in a few and right now it's seems to be ND decision.  Boo.  To confirm that, Michigan has offered 2018 Essexville (Mich.) Garber and Iowa Commit TE/LB Ben VanSumeren.

• Michael Barrett's Birthday is today and many are expecting an announcement.   We will see if it happens or no.

• Disney is buying a ton of Fox's movies and TV divisions but it seems BTN will not be part of the deal.  It would have been pretty funny to have BTN part of ESPN.  Seen reports of a 55 to 66 Billion dollar deal.  

• 5-Star DE Eyabi Anoma is announcing a week from Friday. Most expect it to be an Alabama decision.
