Michigan Friday: Summer Camp Schedule Starting To Take Shape

As you know, Jimmy and staff love to travel the country working with high schools kids that want to attend a one day football camp.  The NCAA has limited some of that activity but its still available for a few weeks each summer.

Michigan will again be at the Lane Kiffin's Florida Atlantic camp and many other across the country.   When you see two camps on the same day, that means the coaching staff will be split or doing multiple in one day.  Per Mlive, here is the camp schedule as of right now:

  • June 1: Mercer University (Macon, Ga.)
  • June 2: Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, Fla.)
  • June 2: University of Tennessee-Martin (Martin, Tenn.)
  • June 3: Grand Valley State University (Allendale, Mich.)
  • June 6: Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio)
  • June 6: Wagner College (New York, N.Y.)
  • June 8: Wagner College (New York, N.Y.)
  • June 9: Prospects/HS specialists camp (Ann Arbor)
  • June 10: Bowie State University (Bowie, Md.)
  • June 18: Big man/prospect camps (Ann Arbor)

    • Tom Izzo is a candidate for the Orlando Magic head coach, yes please.

    • The #1 player in Ohio, 5 star Zach Harrison is set to visit Michigan on June 21 and then to Columbus on June 23.  He is a must get for Urban Meyer and has already visited Penn State officially and might do an official to Clemson as well.

    • Remember 2015 class commit LB Darrin Kirkland, Jr. who committed to Tennessee?  He is now transferring as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility.
For you sneakerheads out there, here is a closer look at the Michigan Jordan 3 PE's that were given to the team for the Outback Bowl:
