Michigan Friday: This Is The Longest Commit Watch Of My Life

The Michigan Football team has been under "commit watch" since Monday morning.   Many thought QB 2020 Harrison Bailey was the guy that had committed but he pick Tennessee over Michigan yesterday afternoon.   This was a bit of a surprise, but Michigan has a deep QB room right now and  the 2020 early signing period is still over a year away.   Also Michigan is looking for dual threat guys and Bailey is a pro style drop back.

Sam Webb has mentioned its not Zach Harrison who Coach Harbaugh is expected to be in home with this week.

Jimmy was also visiting the family of FSU commit LB Kalen DeLoach.  He even visited his father and mother at their jobs during the afternoon.   So its probably not him.

Thank goodness for private airplanes as coach also was in home with OT Trevor Keegan on Thursday night.   So probably not TK yet either.

Michigan coaches were out to see WR Cornelius Johnson who is expected to be down to Michigan and Stanford but is leaning towards the Farm.

Huge OT Dawand Jones has a December announcement date planned.

Might be instate DE who Michigan is recruiting as a TE Darius Robinson.

Some insiders are saying it could be Anthony Solomon a guy that really hasn't been on the radar lately because he is a Miami commit.  He is a 4 star LB.

So your guess is as good as mine?

  • 4 star TE Isaiah Foskey is expected to take a visit to Michigan

  • 3 star OT Danielson Ike will take a 3 day visit from 12/14-12/16 the weekend prior to the early signing period from 12/20-12/22

  • Jim McElwain seems to be the leading candidate for the CMU HC job

  • Jourdan Lewis got his first NFL Interception last night to beat the Saints

  • Paul Johnson at Georgia Tech has retired and it's expected that Bill Snyder will also retire from KSU

  • Are you looking for a way for Northwestern to upset OSU on Saturday?   Of course, OSU spent the entire week preparing for the Michigan Game in 2019 so they won't be prepared for Northwestern.

I wish that Michigan would forgo this journey down the dual-threat road!
