In a night that lacked surprises, failing technology, trades, and bad picks the NFL Draft pretty much went off as planned. It was great to see Cesar Ruiz go to the Saints with the 24th pick in the first round. As the draft was pretty much a recruiting tape for Ohio State Football, the Wolverines got some good publicity of its own with Ruiz being the only Center in round 1.
Ed Warinner will use Ruiz development and 1st round selection for years to come on the recruiting trail. As its clear he has been the reason Michigan has turned its offensive line around.
With Round 2&3 tonight, I hope we see Josh Uche and even maybe DPJ. With 6 WR's taken in the 1st round that should help DPJ move up a few draft boards. DPJ is considered the 13th ranked WR in the draft.
- The other big news yesterday came from basketball as Franz Wagner is planning on coming back. This is the smart decision and great for Juwan's program. I thought Franz really was set back by missing a handful of games to start the year last season. Hopefully, he will be healthy and ready to play whenever sports start again.
- Speaking of healthy, Austin Davis had shoulder surgery and is expected to be back next Fall.
- SG transfer Justin Kier doesn't have Michigan on his final list.

Yeah, Devin Bush was a bust and did very little in his first year?? He lead the entire Pittsburgh Steeler’s team in tackles and finished 3rd for defensive rookie of the year. Shows how much you you pay attention OSUdick (aka michiganman). Your lack of true football knowledge is astounding! All emotion and zero knowledge or substance.
Devin Bush slashed Sparty... he is immune to shit talking... He is a serious Warrior... who also spilled the beans on why Jim is a terrible coach during super bowl week... Mike Dana saved himself with a great all star game performance and got drafted as a result..I would not have drafted him but I am very happy for him... as soon as he gets away from Don Brown and Jim his tape looked better... and someone took a chance on him... Michigan Man, it’s not that they are all busts... the reality is you have to have serious god given talent to get drafted out of Michigan these days.... nothing they learn from Jim can help them...
Michigan 10 Draftees, OSU 10 Draftees. Alabama and Clemson had 9 & 7 respectively. LSU led all with 14.

It would be interesting to take say the first three rounds of the draft and see what the average HS star rating of those players drafted were.
You guys shouldn't be talking while your stomach's are empty. I know how thirsty and hungry you guys are from lack of success from our football team. Someone of you guys think we have been winning championship year after year. So what our players get drafted, it is what they do a football field what really matters. If two payers from one team get drafted and become hall of famers, it is lot better than 10 players getting drafted and doing nothing.
