- JJ McCarthy is preforming well at the Elite 11 competition this week. He is currently ranked #7 by 24/7 after Day 1, #9 after Day 2. Seems the evaluators love his arm talent but is a bit thin and not a running threat.
- I know Fred Wilpon is a Michigan man and made billions of dollars but his Bobby Bonilla deal where he wanted to save almost $6M to invest with Madoff has to be one of the worst contracts in all of sports. If you don't know the story, the Mets didn't want to pay out Bobby's contract in 2000 (because they wanted to break the bank with Madoff ) so they signed a long term payout deal with Bobby and his agent with interest that started in 2011 and last 25 years. Bobby is 57 and will be one of the highest paid players in this shorten season. His take is 1.2M a year until 2035. Today is Bobby Bonilla payout day and I'm sure he is smiling somewhere. Even Charlie Weis thinks this is a good deal.
- High School Football in the Spring is currently under consideration in Michigan.
- How in the world is Michigan Football going to travel to Washington in 2 months? When are we going to hear that game has been cancelled or re-scheduled?
- Former Michigan Football player Russ Furrha is opening a coffee shop across from the Big House and Pioneer. Russ played for Rich Rod.
- A man who threated Ohio State players and a shooting on campus during the Michigan-OSU in Columbus in 2018 is expected to plead guilty today.

The Osu commit is ranked 3rd in the Elite 11... and is not going to be coached by harbaugh..... I was excited about this kid but not after he is 9th out of 11... that’s sounds very similar to were we are as a program... it is clear now why this guy chose Michigan... because he is not as good as the other qbs according to this competition...maybe this does not matter and he will be great? Hope so but... he is skinny and can’t run... sounds like... tackles getting beat and kid hitting the dirt in big moments coming up
You do realize there are more than 11 kids invited to the Elite 11 finals?
I looked up the finals roster... that is what I found...I could care less if there were a million kids.. 9th place sucks....when Osu is third... 9th place really sucks...
I also realize this.... every damn time you look up ANYTHING involving college football... we do not beat Osu in one thing... ever... idc what you look up... and this is another example of how quickly reality sets in... I’m thinking for the last 6 months... Hail yes we have a 5 Star qb coming in... then today I look up this bullshit that bob is talking about and I find out that Osu has a five star as well... that is better... so there it is... no qb gets better under Harbaugh so they have to have god given talent with something different that no one has... like Vince Young...guess what... if JJ don’t have it when they play this QB club fake crap than he won’t be better than the other guys after people start running at him full throttle .. Every player that we get... everyone.. has a rival Buckeye at the same position that is better...this is like playing Risk against George Patton.... set up the pieces and everything looks pretty on the board but the dice never do roll right...
Well SI ranked JJ 2nd overall at the camp, above Mccord. So now you can celebrate the holiday weekend with that long-awaited victory over osu. Happy 4th and go blue!
