Monday's News and Notes

Does anyone think Lloyd was trying to channel Bill Belichick by wearing a hoodie on Saturday? He forgot to cut off the sleeves.

  • Michigan is still ranked #12 in the BCS. #13 in both polls. Not much movement this week, nor should there be.

  • OSU remains #1 in the BCS with a solid win over Wisconsin. LSU is now #2. That would be a very interesting BCS Championship game. Former Wolverine (soon to be current Wolverine - hopefully)and Ohio native, coach Les Miles vs the Vest.

  • Henne left the MSU game with ice on this shoulder (I bet the fall he took leaving the field didn't help! - Did anyone catch that? funny stuff) See it on the right tool bar!

  • Hart continues to nurse his high ankle sprain. I think he will try to play against Wisconsin in limited action.

  • Michigan opened up a -3 favorite against Wisconsin (I bow down to the Vegas odds makers, after saying the 4 point Michigan/MSU line was way too low. You guys are crazy with the crystal ball thing you do)

  • The Freep floats the idea that Michigan should rest Henne against Wisconsin to save him for the Ohio State game. I disagree.

  • Tom Brady is good (I bet you already knew that)

  • Morgan Trent is the quiet MVP on the Defensive side of the ball this year. He has played great and will get tested by the fine OSU WR's in two weeks. My hope is he fairs better then he did last year. He made a nice game saving pass break up on the last drive of Saturday's game.
  • No mater what OSU and Michigan do this week. They will meet for the Big Ten Championship at The Big House on November 17th. Let the countdown begin..........
