Michigan has a 5-Star QB and now they need to surround him with talented skill players. Michigan has been off to a bit of slow start in that category with only Jaylen Pile a slot WR committed for the 2026 class. That was until 4-star 6'4 180 pound Zion Robinson committed on Wednesday. Zion is rated as a 4-star to all the services minus On3 which lists him as a 3. 24/7 has him rated as the 71st player in the country and 6th WR.
Zion plays his high school football in Mansfield, Texas and had a nice offer list that included Stanford, Miami, Nebraska, Florida, AZ, Houston, ND, LSU, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, TCU, A&M and many more. Welcome big man, we sure do need you!
It seems Zion was the first of two commits on Wednesday as Massachusetts OT Marky Walbridge also committed to Michigan. Marky whose name is similar to the singing, acting, and restaurant owning Wahlberg's, is 6'6 and 280 pounds and considered a 3 star prospect to 24/7 and the composite.
His offer list is what you imagine it might be: Duke, BC, Penn State, Florida, Umass, UConn, VAndy, Temple Syracuse, South Carolina, Tennessee, Rutgers, and Pitt. Even Ohio State offered!
Welcome Marky Mark (too soon?)!
