Big Recruiting Weekend - Big Snow

So one of the downsides of recruiting the speed of "the South" is having recruits come to Ann Arbor in January when it's cold and snowing. They don't get to see how nice the weather can be in Ann Arbor in April through September. So Michigan's biggest hope is that the tradition, coaches, facilities, eduction and of course Mike Barwis are so impressive they don't even think twice about the white stuff and the 20 degree weather.

This weekend is the first weekend since the silent period where players can go back on the road and do official visits. Michigan currently has 20 committed players with 5 spots still open. There are a number of important prospects coming in this weekend and to say the least, Michigan would take commitments from all of them.

Coming in this weekend are the following recruits:

Sam Montgomery, DE

Denard Robinson, QB

Adrian Witty, CB

Travante Stallworth, WR

Marcus Hall, OT

Barkevious Mingo, LB

Michael Schofield and Cameron Gordon (current commitments)
