- Steve Spurrier visited Sam Montgomery at school and then went to his mom's office for a talk. "That was my first opportunity to meet coach Spurrier," Mrs. Montgomery said. "He was telling me about himself and his position with Carolina football. I had never gotten his take on everything." Still Sam doesn't plan on visiting South Carolina. Sam plans to reveal his choice on ESPN on National Signing Day around 10:00 or 10:30 in the morning.
- It seems many of Michigan's non-committed recruits are going to come down to the last day to decide what schools they want to attend. Besides Sam above, the other Michigan recruits that are announcing a week from tomorrow are: Florida team mates: Denard Robinson and Adrian Witty, four-star wide receiver Je’Ron Stokes, offensive guard Quinton Washington, and wide receiver/slot Travante Stallworth.
- If those guys don't go Blue, what happens then? Look for wide receiver Terrell Mitchell and Tallahassee, Fla., quarterback Austin Dantin to get signing day offers.
