Wolverine Wednesday - News and Notes

  • Michigan's spring game finished 7th nationally in attendance. Look for that 50k to grow in upcoming years if they keep up the fun events and the admission free.

  • Offensive lineman Eric Mack (6-4, 310) from Calhoun County High in South Carolina picked up a Michigan offer last week.

  • Friend of the family, Brad Darr was elected into U of M's Track and Field Hall of Fame. Brad was the first and only man to clear 18-feet in the pole vault in school history and won the Big Ten outdoor title as a senior. Brad also earned two indoor and one outdoor All-American distinction during his career with the Wolverines. His indoor (17-10 1/4) and outdoor pole vault records still stand.

  • Tim Floyd might have used cash to get OJ Mayo to USC. Yikes. Reggie Bush had no comment on the story. If you remember, Tommy Amaker was really recruiting OJ hard. I'm glad Tommy didn't give OJ a $1000 handshake.
