Michigan Tuesday: Boring Florida Camp Updates

This is a terrible time of the week to get any information on Michigan's Orange Bowl match-up on Friday night against FSU.   All the articles will talk about getting used to practicing in the heat and other boring topics.

It also seems the excitement of Commitmas has come to an end.   We were hoping that maybe Chuck Filiaga or Najee Harris would announce a decision.  For Chuck it seems to be an Oklahoma and Michigan battle and for Najee we know its an Alabama and Michigan battle.   Chuck is a high priority for the Wolverines after losing out on Isaiah Wilson.

  • Jay Tufele one of the top DT's in the nation announced his top 5 yesterday in Michigan, USC, Utah, BYU and OSU.   Jay is taking visits in January so don't expect a quick decision here.

  • Jimmy said a few injured players didn't make the trip, of course he didn't say who.  All the starters seemed to be at practice on Monday.

  • Desmond and his boys attended practice on Monday.

  • Freshman LB Devin Bush Jr. will get to play against the team his father played for on Friday night.  He also grew up just outside of Miami and will have a number of family members at the game.   It's funny to note that Devin Bush Sr. is now on Jimmy's staff and will help the Michigan coaches prepare to beat his former team.

Hopefully Devin learns to keep his helmet out of the vicious hits he lays on.... That kid has the potential to be a punishing defender, as long as he doesn't rack up targeting penalties and suspensions.

Three more days! GO BLUE!
