Adidas has been on a bit of a roller coaster ride lately. They lost the Michigan and NBA contracts but have been doing well with the very popular Yeezy and Ultra Boost sneakers. They have now grabbed #5 in your program but #1 in your heart, Jabrill Peppers.
Pep signed a multi-year deal with Adidas this past weekend. Congrats Pep and get that money why you can!
Peppers draft status continues to be in the eye of the beholder. I have seen it as high as #7 in the draft and some are saying he has a 2nd to 3rd round grade. I would suggest he not attend the draft due to the large prediction window, but would be surprised if he wasn't taken high in the second round at the lowest.
- Michigan has offered Corvallis (OR.) Crescent Valley 2018 four-star ATH Talanoa Hufanga
- Michigan has offered 2018 Frisco (Tex.) Wakeland 4-star OT Rafiti Ghirmai
- Michigan's top prospect in the 2018 class, DTR will play in the Under Armour All American game.
- Spring Practice starts March 24th
- The buzz from the Combine is that Malik McDowell had a few terrible interviews with some of NFL teams. It seems his whole life changed when he picked MSU over Michigan during that hat presentation on NSD. I can only speculate that Michigan would have made him a better Defensive Lineman. It seems he picked MSU because they would let him do what he wanted to do.
- Derrick Walton wins Big Ten player of the week and is named to the Big Ten's 2nd team.

Shocking that spring practice is around the corner, seems like the older I get the "train to hell" picks up steam.
