Preview of The Big Ten Games in Week 2

Top Game:

Oklahoma at Ohio State:  Last year OSU shocked Oklahoma and won a lopsided game.   Big Game Bob is now gone and Baker Mayfield's biggest hit came by the police in the off season.   OSU looked pretty bad in the first half and the old Buckeyes in the second against IU last weekend.  Oklahoma had a laugher against UTEP 56-7.   OSU is over a TD favorite at -7.5.   When there are two good teams, I like to take the better coach.   OSU 28 OK 24

Ohio at Purdue:  One of the Big Ten top stories out of week one was how well Purdue played against Louisville.  This is the first momentum this program has had in years and its off a loss.  They better win this game and win it by a large margin.    Purdue 38 Ohio 14

Northwestern at Duke:  The annual SAT Bowl.  I watched some of Northwestern's game last week and wasn't impressed.  Somehow they are still favored in this game at -3.   I like Duke in this one at home.   Duke 31 NW 21

Iowa at Iowa State:  This is a trophy game and clearly an instate rivalry.   Iowa is always sneaky good and think they are again.   I like Iowa on the road in a close low scoring game.   Iowa is small favorite at -2.5.   Iowa 17 ISU 14

FAU at Wisconsin:  Yikes!  FAU is probably happy to be out of the state of Florida this weekend and making a little money.  Wisconsin is -31.5.  Wisconsin 41 FAU 12

Western Michigan at MSU:  Western all most upset USC last week and MSU struggled with Bowling Green early.  MSU is -7 in this one.   I love love WMU in this one, take the points all day!   WMU 24 MSU 20

Pitt at PSU:  Pitt won this game a year ago but now finds themselves a 21 point underdog.  Penn State has a laugher of a non-conference and this should be another one in Happy Valley.  Penn State 28 Pitt 10

EMU at Rutgers:   Rutgers is favored in a football game and might beat a team located in Washtenaw County in Michigan.  Which they will probably put in the media guide.    Rutgers is -5 and looked decent in a loss to Washington.   Rutgers 31 EMU 21

IU at Virginia:  Not sure on this game, IU looked really good on offense for a half a week ago.  The second half looked like the old Indiana. Not sure what Virginia has this year, IU is favored by a field goal.  I'm going to take the home team in a shoot out.   Virginia 48 IU 41

Nebraska at Oregon:   In week one, The Cornhuskers looked pretty poor and The Ducks scored 77 points.  I don't think they are that bad or that good.   The Ducks are a -13.5 favorite.  I like the Ducks big in this one.   Oregon 44 Nebraska 24

WKU at Illinois:  Illinois is an underdog at home.   WKU is a -7.5 favorite.  WKU 24 Illinois 18

Minnesota at Oregon State:  Both of these programs are rebuilding and I think OSU is bit farther down the line.  OSU is -2.   OSU 20 Minnesota 10
