Wolverine Wednesday: Music To My Ears

Michigan's defense is different this year and people are noticing.  Former MSU and current Northern Illinois QB (who lite up the Michigan Defense last season) Rocky Lombardi mentioned the defense is completely different and Paul Chryst gave similar comments after the game on Saturday:

“Well, I think they’re a really good defense right now,” Chryst said. “And I think they’re playing — I think they got a good team and that — let’s face it, that helps our — you know, our defense, I think we’ve got a good defense. But not often are they able to play with a lead.

“You know, that changes the whole dynamic, as well, there. But they’ve got really good football players. And I certainly think what they do is good football schematics. But they got good players.

“You know, each year is different. We did not go in thinking that we were playing last year’s team or the one before. And we’re different. Our team’s different, too.

“So those never kind of enter into your mind. You know, this is — we’re not playing the helmets, we’re playing the individuals. And a lot of respect for who they are as players and coaches, their unit.”

Michigan's hiring of Mike MacDonald and going to multiple schemes is playing off and I have been waiting for it for 3 + years! Dangerous thought, what would of happened if M2 was here for the Winovich, Gary, and Bush years?   Don Brown hasn't won a game since at Rutgers last year and his Arizona defense is giving up 31 points per game.

Michigan Basketball scored a commitment from 4 star forward Gregg Glen who has a ton of G's in his name.   Gregg is a good friend with Jett Howard and knows the Howard family well, so this was only a matter of time.  Just like Jett's commitment which will come next week.   The thing we need to know is what will Gregg's nickname be?   Options Triple G for his first name, 4G for all his G's, he could be an OG +3, and I'm sure there could be many more.

  • With the new NIL rules it seems Hunter and Adrien Nunez is being compensated to promote the Vegas Tournament that Michigan is playing in this winter.   Your first thought might be, Nunez?  He is a social media star and has a ton of followers.
  • Urban Meyer LOL

If MacDonald had decided he didn't want to be our DC, then we def wouldn't want him on our sidelines, and same goes for Urban Meyer.

I don't want Meyer on the sidelines even if he wanted to come. Buck-nutsack-boy doesn't want anything that would help Michigan. Yesterday he said Hutchinson had a lot of upside. Defensive player of the week. The fricken guy is ready for the NFL, but he has a lot of upside?!?

My dude...young blood...Hutchinson only has 8 sacks in 3 years in Michigan...He is no where near Bosa Borthers or Miles Garret...some players have like 20 in a single season...anyways what ya'll think will happen this weekend...lets get some prediction...some of you guys are expert here...like to hear what expert have to say...?

Blue for Life...
Fire Don Brown from AZ...
Someone please hire Rich Rod!!

Predictions in the Buck-nutsack-boy vein: I think Michigan will win but they don't stand a chance. The coaches will have a great game plan ready but they won't know what they're doing. The players will be well coached but they'll be lost. It will rain but no one will get wet. It's a night game but the sun will be out...
