Michigan Monday: Will Smith Gets a 5 Game Suspension at Bell Air Academy

At least Juwan Howard doesn't have the most famous slap of the year.  Also, how do you think Will feels about the open marriage situation with Jada?  Is that working out for him?

I didn't watch the Williams Sisters Movie, as it looked like a bad documentary made into a movie.  I'm not a movie critic, but from the sounds of it, this was more of a recognition of Will's body of work then his performance in that show.   Either way, hell of a night to be Will Smith.

  • Congratulations to Michigan Hockey making it to the Frozen Four!
  • Congratulations to Michigan Womens Basketball on making it to the Elite 8.   They have a hell of test in Louisville tonight, who beat the Lady Wolverines earlier this year.
  • DeVante Jones has declared for the NBA Draft, good luck to him.
  • Villanova played terrible on the offensive end for two games and somehow made the Final 4.   I know they're very strong defensively but neither Michigan nor Houston shot the ball well enough to make it interesting.
  • A rivalry game in the Final 4 between Duke and UNC.  Can UNC end Coach K's run twice?
  • Very Blue Final 4, All 4 schools main color is a shade of Blue.
  • Congrats to St. Peters, watching a Cinderella run in the tournament is always fun (as long as Michigan wasn't one of the teams you beat).
  • The Outback Bowl is now called the Tampa Bay Bowl (until they can replace the sponsor).

Where is all the outrage over Will Smith slapping someone? Where are all the clowns that wanted Juwan fired? (Sharties) There probably won't be any outrage because Hollywood takes care of its own. They'll edit and omit it, then claim it was 'staged'. I'm also watching to see what happens to Alec Baldwin. Seems cut and dried he was negligent in the accidental shooting of the film director. In a similar situation, a woman police officer was found guilty when she accidentally shot someone instead of tasing them.

Chris rock handled the situation like a pro .... he deserves an award for not striking back and creating a fiasco. Does Will Smith punch his wife after she got boned by a big 'buck" and can't walk straight...will Smith is fake.

Maybe the next Oscar program will have "The Rock" (Dwayne Johnson) or John Cena host their awards show, then we'll see how eager anyone will be to walk up on stage and sneak a slap on someone. Personally, I think what Chris Rock said was in poor taste but it didn't warrant being slapped (let alone in front of billions of people).

Moreover, when you're 6'2" and about 82kg, and you're see a small 5'10" about 76 kg person you may not have the same level of apprehension. I know it was seen as defending his wife's honor but it didn't necessarily come across that way because he was so ready to slap the crap out of the "little rock" and would likely not have tried to slap the "big rock." He could have yelled at Chris from his seat and told him something like, "Hey man that sh-t ain't cool...cut it out." Most likely Chris Rock would have backed off and apologize. But what do I know. IMHO!!!
