Michigan Thursday: Let's Dance

Michigan fans don't like to wear green, mostly on game days where Michigan is playing a team with green in its color scheme.  Today, we can make an exception because its St. Patrick's Day and nobody is trying to get pinched.

The Michigan Basketball team has had a season of turmoil and inconsistent play.   Today could go a long way from erasing that from our memories.   Michigan has talent but hasn't gelled this year and hasn't shot the ball well.   This afternoon will be another up hill climb as DeVante Jones, Michigan's grad transfer point guard did not make the trip to Indy with a concussion.   He came to Michigan for games like this and now is in Ann Arbor watching like the rest of us.   That is just sad on so many levels.  Frankie Collins will replace Jones in the starting lineup.

I'm not going to pretend I know anything about Colorado State but I hope Michigan wins and faces Tennessee on Saturday.

Michigan Football got a quiet commit this week from 3 star Defensive lineman Brooks Bahr from Illinois in the 2023 class.   BB is 6'6 and 270 and was recruited by new coach Mike Elston.

Brooks offer sheet includes the likes of Wisconsin, Northwestern, Purdue, Iowa, ISU, Nebraska, Minnesota, Cincy, and others.   He currently plays DE but has a frame that could grow into a DT. Welcome B2 to A2.

  • Wino got traded to the Browns, I hope they move Clowney so he can get some time.
  • Congrats to Naz Hillmon Michigan's first female basketball All American
  • Livers scored 16 for the Pistons the other night
  • Jimmy has hired the first female GA in D1 Power 5 history.  Welcome Milan Bolden-Morris!
