In Indy a week ago around noon, Michigan played very well after the opening tip and found themselves up 17 points over Indiana an then lost the game.
Yesterday, In Indy around noon, Michigan played terribly after the opening tip and found themselves down 15 points prior to half-time. They dug deep, found some resolve and cut the deficit to 7 points before the half.
In the second half, Michigan found a couple of 3 point shots, a steady diet of Hunter, and pulled away late. It was another microcosm of what this team has looked at times this year: terrible and pretty good. We are going to need the pretty good team to show up against a talented Tennessee team on Saturday just after 5:00.
Either way, I will take a win on the first game and first day of the tournament every year! Sure made the rest of the day feel a lot better.
- The rest of the Big Ten didn't do so well. A jet lagged IU got boat raced by St. Mary's and Iowa lost a disappointing game to Richmond. Rutgers lost a marathon play-in game to ND the night before.

Good few days for Mich athletics. They hockey game last night was crazy, esp at the end!
Michigan basketball season went from a so-so season to a successful season! Howard's interaction with the Tennessee player after the game, had to pull at your "heart strings" if you are human... I still think Wisconsin basketball game things were said to provoke Howard. Go Blue!
Yeah. That was a great thing for Howard to do.
How many wins did Michigan get yesterday? Basketball (x2), hockey, some wrestling
Sionara Ohio State. Better luck next year...
Guys everything from here on is icing on the 🎂....
