Wolverine Wednesday: Another Deerfield Beach Star is Heading to A2

I hope all the Big House Blog inmates had a safe and wonderful July 4th holiday!

We all know how quickly beloved Denard Robinson became with Michigan fans when he became the QB at Michigan.  Heading from Deerfield Beach Florida to Ann Arbor to play for RR was a considerable risk at the time.  I'm guessing Denard regards that to be one of the best decisions of his life.  I hope Elias Rudolph, a 4-star Edge rusher, feels the same in the future.

Elias may play for Deerfield Beach right now but he has Ohio roots.  He knows all about the rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State and picked the Wolverines over the Buckeyes on Monday night.  He also knows about "Edge U" and all the talent that the NFL has recently drafted off Michigan's defensive lines.  “They got the evidence to put me where I want to be in life: The school, the major, the facility, the coaches, the atmosphere,” Rudolph said. “I just feel like that was the best decision for me to take my next three to five years and hopefully make my run for the NFL. They produce NFL talent.

Rudolph had 24 total offers and picked the Wolverines over the likes of: Miami, Ohio State, Pitt, Georgia, FSU, Texas A&M, PSU, and many more.

Welcome to Ann Arbor Elias!

  • Kobe Bufkin officially signed his NBA contract with the Atlanta Hawks
  • Michigan "Orlando" Magic has released Bol Bol
  • Michigan has put a black wind screen around the outdoor practice football field.  Is this to cut down on the wind or any onlookers on Stadium's bridge?  I think we all know the answer to that one.
