Before we get into the Rose Bowl, I left out a very important piece to the cheers and jeers section in my Alabama Post Game:

- Michigan's equipement staff was ready for the rain and had the Wolverines in the proper cleats for a grass field and even a wet grass field.
Now onto the Buckeyes. This is the second game since the Michigan game where their play has surprised me. The Rose Bowl wasn't close and it started early and continued from there. Yes, they came back to earth in the 2nd half but that is human nature after a huge lead. This is the team we all expected to see when Michigan was in Columbus. Keep over emphasizing the Michigan game Ryan Day and that mental block will continue.
What happened in New Orleans was just devastating, I can't believe the world we live in sometimes. Moving the game was the right decision, I still think they should've played it tonight instead of at 4:00. The CFP is going to a lead into the Gator Bowl?
I just don't understand Texas. Sometimes they look like the best team in the nation and at other times it looks like they shouldn't make the playoffs.
CFP so far has had 1 close game. All the home teams won in the first round and all the teams with a bye lost in the 2nd (so far).
I know I've been very critical of Wink since he got here. The defense for most of the year warranted that criticism but against Ohio State and Alabama. He deserves a standing ovation. That defense was a void of all stars against Bama and played their asses off. Well done to Wink and the defensive staff!
- Backup DB Kody Jones has decided to jump into the portal, he has the opportunity because Michigan played in a later bowl game.
- Surprised we haven't heard more about Davis Warren knee injury. I hope it isn't serious and I hope he considers coming back in a back-up role.
- Speaking of coming back, I would like Alex Orji to come back as a power RB or a TE and I would also like WR Tyler Morris to consider a return.
- Joe Milton might take some live snaps in a game for the Patriots this week.
- Jeremiah Smith is 19 and looks like he is 27. Will Howard is 23 and looks like he is 17.

As far as Texas: their personality is that of Quinn Ewers. When Ewers is on, they are a very good team. Problem is Ewers goes MIA at times and play like ass and then Texas struggles. Also think Sark is a boner and gets a little cutesy with his play calling at times. he's a bit Ryan Day-esque: oh this is working, lets try something different!
I'm still not on the Wink Martindale train! Look I think Chip Kelly and Ryan Day did Michigan a favor with their play calling. Except for early in the game, Kelly/Day bizarrely decided they wanted to take on the teeth of the Michigan D and run right at Grant/Graham. If they would of play called in the Michigan game like they did against Oregon, were still probably bemoaning a loss to the Buckeyes. OSU is built to compete against SEC teams and teams like Oregon. They aren't built to play a power brand of football, but Day is hell bent on showing Michigan how tough his team is.
As far as Bama, Jalen Milroe BLOWS. He's not much more of a QB than Alex Orji. Call him a rich man's Alex Orji. He can't read defenses, is confused easily, and is very indecisive. Not a great skill set for a QB, especially against a D like Martindale run. If you can't make quick decisions against Wink's defense, YOU'RE DEAD!
I would love to get Tyler Morris back in the fold. Jeremiah Smith can play in the NFL right now..Yeah Milroe played a terrible game. It was good to see Etta, get some playing time at defensive tackle, we need him to develop. Considering how many players we were missing on defense the effort was great
I don't think Bob said give Wink a 20-year contract extension and a 500 million raise. I think he just meant tip of the cap, pat on the back you did a great job we appreciate it. Got give credit where's it's due....
Szanreno: Not throwing shade at Bob, I just not a Wink fan.....yet! I got to see more. We all have our opinions, and mine hasn't changed on Wink just yet.
