Breaking News: Michigan gets another commit

Ohio running back 5-10, 185lb Fitzgerald Toussaint, teammate of safety commit Isaiah Bell has committed to Michigan for the 2009 recruiting class. Toussaint isn't ranked yet; but has offers from Pitt, Illinois, and WVU.

Liberty junior Fitzgerald Toussaint tore up the league as a sophomore in 2006, averaging 12 yards per carry, rushing for 1,100 yards and scoring 14 touchdowns.

Toussaint will be a slot/scatback hybrid, just like seemingly every player Michigan is pursuing. Toussaint is the second of three major recruits from Liberty to commit to Michigan, leaving only LB Julius Ferrell - who may still end up a member of this class. He becomes Michigan's 5th commitment for the 2008 class.

Info on Toussanint came from both Mgoblog and Varsity Blue.
