Your No Jake Long

In a day where Michigan's top Offensive Lineman in the history of the program goes #1 in the NFL draft. This happens: Justin Boren enrolls at Ohio State. I could take this opportunity to reset my takes on Justin liking donuts better then running or how he is weak and didn't want to improve or him just being a "red coat" traitor. But I won't go there. Poor Justin has taken enough criticism and now his family will have to pay his way at Ohio State for the next three years, since Big Ten rules state you can't transfer in conference and get a scholarship. See Justin, you should have learned something from Jake (like working hard and not quiting), but it's pretty clear you didn't. This decision will now cost your family 10's of thousands of dollars. Good Luck and enjoy the next three years of your life in Columbus. BTW: I'm pretty sure Coach Tressel won't let you have your teddy bear on the practice field like Coach Carr did. Also, If you don't make it to the NFL and need to pay off those college loans, don't call Jake.

  • Does Kevin Newsome give us another hint on his my space page? Check out his sweatshirt that he is wearing. Let's hope these are good signs that this star dual threat QB is coming to A2.

  • Did anyone notice that U of M Baseball hung 27 runs on State this past weekend in one game?
  • Former Saginaw guard and St. John transfer might be considering the Michigan Basketball program. Michigan does have a spot available for next year.
  • Update on some more Buckeye recruiting targets
  • ND dropping the "tin soldiers" approach to football. Good move Charlie! It also might be a good idea to "develop" these high school kids into premier college athletes. Just a thought, I'm not a football genius or anything.
  • Do you think Michigan is recruiting speed? Fred Jackson just attended a Track Meet to watch recruit Jheranie Boyd run. NC State and ND (Cornflakes) coaches were also in attendance.
