ESPN and ABC recently released their "early look" at their football schedule for this year. A couple of things jumped out at me. Michigan is on the schedule once and Saturday Night Football is not what it used to be. Besides a few "big" games the ABC night schedule is average at best (but Big Ten heavy). With so few Michigan games scheduled to be on the ESPN Family of networks (of course they can pick up games weeks in advance) it looks like Comcast and Time Warner better get off their *ss and work our a deal for the BTN soon or Direct TV here I come. OSU and PSU seem to be "primetime favorites" next year. I'm sure they moved the Michigan game to 4:30 so PSU wouldn't have 3 8:00 games in a row or 4 out of 5.
Here is a look at some of the "night" games:
All 8:00 ABC games:
8/30: Alabama vs Clemson and MSU vs CAL
9/13: OSU vs USC
9/27: Illinois vs PSU
10/4: OSU vs Wisconsin or Oregon vs USC
10/11: PSU vs Wisconsin
10/18: Michigan vs PSU : 4:30 start
10/25: PSU vs OSU or ND vs Washington
11/8: CAL vs USC
11/29: ND vs USC
