- Junior Hemingway is practicing in a non-contact jersey which is a good sign for him to play on Saturday.
- There won't be any punishment for Jonas Mouton "punch" during the ND game. RR didn't see it and there wasn't a penalty called, but: "Let me make it perfectly clear. No personal fouls will go unpunished (by the coaches)." It's emotional, and sometimes emotional things happen. Play between the whistles and play fair. Penalties can be due to lack of discipline, but the team is doing OK in that respect so far. Saturday didn't seem to be much chippier or physical than most games."
- A good story on walk on back up safety Jordan Kovacs. He tried out and told the trainers he had knee surgery but it still hurt. He went back and had it fixed and made this years team and is now the back up safety behind Mike Williams.
- RR is looking to play more young players this week.
- The starting offensive line will depend if David Moosman can play or not.
