Michigan Monday: Tate Forcier has a Concussion

Rich Rodriguez Monday Morning Press Conference:

  • Tate Forcier suffered a concussion on his last play. His shoulder was sore but better then last week. Coach Rod said they believed it to be a minor concussion, but he still had a head ache this morning. The doctors and medical staff will make the call if he can play on Saturday. He will be limited this week in practice.
  • RR did not know about the concussion when he made the decision to put Denard in for the last two series.
  • Carlos Brown suffered his concussion last Tuesday and has been cleared to practice and play.
  • Pleased with the effort of the offense line.
  • Troy Woolfork had a tweaked ankle but played well in his move to CB.
  • Jordan Kovacs moved from Free to Strong Safety and played pretty well.
  • Too many un-forced errors.
  • Happy with preparation, focus and intensity.
  • Called out Odoms and Koger as playing well.
  • Boubacar is practicing with the scout team. He needs to work on a few things including focusing on academics before he is re-instated.
  • RR is closing practice (Wed.) to the media from now on due to plays and personnel hitting the papers and Internet.
  • Molk will do some practice snaps today.

Moosman:

  • Snaps were good this week
  • He doesn't care if he plays center or right guard.
  • The team is ready to go on Saturday
  • He reads the New Yorker

Zoltan:

  • Named Big Ten Special Team Player of the week.
  • Happy about the honor but the team comes first.
